About me

Language can be beautiful and complex at the same time. That’s why, in today’s increasingly multilingual business environment, it is often necessary to resort to professional translators like me. I will help you communicate successfully across languages! My name is Chiara Razore: I have a degree in translation, I specialize in law and finance, and I am also a sworn translator and a State recognized interpreter. On a daily basis, I translate annual reports, product descriptions, and contracts bringing precision, empathy, and a solid background knowledge to the table.

The demanding nature of specialized translation perfectly counterbalances my other passions: sports and nature. During my childhood spent in Tuscany and Liguria, I fell in love with the sea and embraced swimming and diving with enthusiasm, but I also developed a strong fascination with languages and foreign cultures. When I was still in school, I was awarded an intercultural scholarship that made it possible for me to spend a year in the US as an exchange student. After that, I got back to Italy where I graduated from a language-focused high school. My next step was Trieste, home to the famous Scuola Superiore di Lingue Moderne per Interpreti e Traduttori (SSLMIT), where I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting for German, French, and Dutch. After that, my passion for languages took me to Munich, where I enrolled in a Master’s program in Conference Interpreting (focusing on German and English).

After a few experiences working as an employee (including for Eni Germany in Munich, for the Italian Consulate in Freiburg, and for the translation agency Diction in Switzerland), I decided to found my own company, TRAZY, based in Freiburg, Germany. Through TRAZY, I provide translation services to clients from all over Europe, I teach classes at Universities of Applied Sciences, and I also share my expertise with students and colleagues through private courses.
